Abstract:

【Abstract】 Objective To study the effects of laparoscopic for the treatment of urachal anomalies in children. Methods The clinical data of 20 children with urachal anomalies was analyzed retrospectively. Results The laparoscopic procedures were completed without fransffered to open surgery. The operating time ranged from 45 to 90 minutes (mean 60 minutes). Amount of bleeding was from 3 mL to 5 mL. The patients were discharged from hospital 5 to 7 days after operation. All achieved a mean of 6 months follow-up and none of them developed adhesive ileus and recurrence. The curative effect was satisfied. Conclusions Laparoscopic repair of urachal anomalies in children has the benefits of less invasiveness nice appearance, quike recovery and safety.
