Abstract: ［Abstract］ Hepatocellular carcinoma（HCC）is one of the common malignant tumors in China. In recent years, the incidence of liver cancer and mortality have increased year by year, and postoperative recurrence and metastasis are considered to be the leading cause of death in patients with liver cancer. As a research hotspot of liver cancer in recent years, circulating tumor cells（CTCs）have been proposed as real?time and noninvasive monitoring of the changes of liver cancer patient s condition, which can be better assessment of postoperative prognosis of liver cancer and develop individualized treatment options. This article reviews the current status of circulating tumor cells in hepatocellular carcinoma in recent years.
