Abstract: ［Abstract］ Objective To analyze the clinical effect of the treatment of senile femoral neck fracture after total hip arthroplasty and semiarthroplasty. Methods A retrospective analysis of the clinical data of 71 cases of elderly patients with femoral neck fracture was conducted. Of 71 cases, 35 were performed total hip arthroplasty therapy （A group）, and 36 underwent hemiarthroplasty therapy （B group）. The clinical efficacy of the two group was assessed and compared. Results The operation time, hospitalization time in A group were longer than that in B group. Intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage volume in A group were greater than that in B group. The complications in A group was less than in B group. The postoperative Harris hip score in A group was higher than in B group. The curative rate of A group was higher than of B group. Conclusion The total hip arthroplasty and semiarthroplasty for femoral neck fracture have their own advantage and disadvantage. The results of the study are in accordance with the literature.
