Abstract: 【Abstract】〓Objective〓To probe the clinical effect of a kind of modified vacuum sealing drainage in treatment of severe wound in limbs. Methods〓From January, 2013 to September, 2015, 102 cases diagnosed with severe wounds in limbs were enrolled. Based on the treatment, all cases were randomly divided into three groups: conventional treatment, conventional vacuum sealing drainage and modified vacuum sealing drainage. The cases in three groups were 33, 35 and 34, respectively and the number of wound care,.the expenditure of hospitalization,.the length of wound closure and hospital stay were recorded in three groups, as well as the recurrent rate of wound infection. Results〓Compare to conventional treatment group, all of the number of wound care, the expenditure of hospitalization, the recurrent rate of wound infection, the length of wound closure and hospital stay were lower in other two groups. However, the length of wound closure and hospital stay are lower in modified vacuum sealing drainage group than in common vacuum sealing drainage group. Conclusions〓The modified vacuum sealing drainage are better than other two groups. Modified vacuum sealing drainage is an ideal method for severe wounds in limbs.
