Abstract: 【Abstract】 Objective To discuss whether to place the abdominal cavity drainage-tube after cholecystectomy and summarize the clinical experience. Methods Eighty-two patients admitted from April 2008 to April 2012 were included in the study. Of them,.53 cases weren't placed the abdominal cavity drainage-tube after cholecystectomy and 29 were placed in operation space. The operation time, hospital stay and complications were compared in two group of patients. Results All operations were completed..The patients with abdominal cavity drainage-tube had longer hospital stay and more complications than those without abdominal cavity drainage-tube. Conclusion Whether to place the abdominal cavity drainage-tube after cholecystectomy depends on the composite factors such as firm cystic duct ligation, thorough hemostasia, peritoneal contamination and surgical trauma.
