Abstract:

【Astract】〓Objective〓To analyze the reasons of complications caused by the clavicular hook plate fixation for distal clavicle fracture and acromioclavicular joint dislocation,.and to investigate the protective step. Methods From Oct 2009 to Nov 2012, 126 patients with distal clavicle fracture and acromioclavicular joint dislocation underwent clavicular hook plate fixation and the clinical data was retrospectively analyzed. Of 126 cases,.81 were males and 45 were females,.the average age was 37.6 years.(range 16-79 years)..Results All the patients were followed up from 3 months to 2 years (average 11 months)..Complications occurred in 39 patients,.presenting as shoulder pain,.stress fracture, decoupling. The function of the shoulder (according to Constant Scores) existed excellent in 32 cases, good in 68, and fair in 16, and the good-excellent rate was 79.4%. Conclusion For the treatment of distal clavicle fracture and acromioclavicular joint dislocation with clavicular hook plate fixation approach,.most of the complications can be prevented,.and correct placement,.fixation surgery and functional exercise are critical to prevent the complications.
